Shidou is the Epic that plays like a threat. Public lists put him in A, not because he is weak, but because Kaiser and Rin do more jobs. If your whole personality is the penalty area, he will feel like S and the rest of the pitch will feel like a loading screen.
Kit feel
Writeups highlight bicycle and dragon-heel style finishes plus a mobility skill people enjoy more than Nagi’s Control. That is a box predator, not a false nine. You want crosses, loose balls, and keepers who stepped one meter too far. How to score is mandatory; your shots are still saveable if you fire from the center circle.

How he plays
Stay high. Let a Sae or Isagi carry. Arrive. If you try to be the only dribbler through midfield, you will feed slides and wonder why an Epic feels bad. Pair with how to dribble only enough to survive the last defender, not to tour the pitch.
Flow is a finish. Do not awaken in your own half. Flow guide if that sentence annoyed you.
Rank and rarity
Epic 32.5% is common enough that you may own him before a Legendary. That does not make him a consolation prize. The styles tier list keeps him in A. The beginner list says he is fun and greedy. Both can be true.

When to bench him
If the lobby is a possession slog and nobody can enter the box, play a mover. If you are learning the game, Isagi will teach more per death. If you already know the box, stop apologizing for an Epic.
Get him with normal rolls. Play ten matches before you reroll for Kaiser out of embarrassment.
If you insist on carrying from kickoff as Shidou, you will write a bad review of an Epic that was never a midfield kit. Stay high, finish scraps, and let someone else tour the center circle. That is how an A-tier box player looks like a problem.
