Project Egoist Controls
Default binds, what has i-frames, and how to stop side-dashing like it is Azure Latch.
Project Egoist publishes its bind list on the Roblox page and then lets you throw the whole thing away in Settings. That is the feature. Players who keep default Q-E-R on a laptop and players who remap to Azure Latch both work. Players who assume Super Dash has i-frames do not.
Print this page, then open the controls cheatsheet tool when you only need the table. Come back here for the why.
PC defaults
| Action | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Dribble | Q | About 3.5s cooldown. i-frames. Ankle-breaks a late slide. Goalkeepers use Q to dive. |
| Steal / side dash | E | Slide tackle, about 5s. No i-frames. Whiff and you are a statue. |
| Super Dash | R | About 7.5s. Burst forward. No i-frames. Teamwork tool, not a god mode. |
| Request ball | T | Ask for a pass. |
| Flow awaken | F | Only when the bar is full. See Flow. |
| Shoot | LMB / M1 | Hold to charge. |
| Pass | RMB / M2 | Auto-tracks a teammate better than a panic tap. |
| Style skills | Z X C V | V is the Flow skill. |
| Run | Ctrl | Toggle. Auto Run in settings is kinder. |
| Jump / header / flick | Space | Header or rainbow flick depending on context. Short cooldown. |
The official description also lists Q as dribble and E as steal or side dash. If you came from a guide that still says Space-only jump, you are on outdated text. Space is the aerial touch.

Rebind in Settings the same way PC does. If your hands want Azure Latch, move Super Dash and slide until the muscle memory stops arguing with the pitch.
Mobile
Mobile is on-screen buttons. Settings lets you drag those buttons. Do that before a ranked-feeling lobby, not during a 2-1. The Codes ticket and Gacha still live in the lobby chrome; do not confuse them with shoot.
Cooldowns and i-frames
Dribble is your safe button. Super Dash is your greedy button. Slide is your gamble. Flow’s awaken window has i-frames during the cinematic; the rest of the minute is not free armor. Style skills vary: Sae Magic Turn can i-frame, Nagi Fake Volley can i-frame, Kaiser Blitz is movement. Read the Style pages before you treat every Z as a shot.
Common rebind mistakes
Putting shoot on a bumper you also use for skill 1 will double-fire. Putting Flow on the same key as emote hold (console already does this on D-pad down) means you will dance instead of awaken if you hold too long. Putting Super Dash on Shift will fight chat and run toggles on PC.
After binds feel quiet, go play. How to dribble and how to score assume these verbs. The getting started page is the lobby half of the same lesson.
If a patch swaps a default, the Roblox description updates first, then Trello, then this table. We do not invent extra keys.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Can I change Project Egoist keybinds?
Yes. Settings on PC, console, and mobile. Mobile also lets you move the buttons.
Does Super Dash have i-frames?
No. Dribble does. Super Dash is a burst that can be punished.
What does V do?
V is your Style Flow skill. It only works after you awaken with a full bar.
Why does Q dive sometimes?
Goalkeepers use the dribble bind as a dive. Field players use it as the carry dash.
